Round up! January

image

Sales were not as good this week as last week! However, I think things will start picking up. I’m experimenting with free shipping as well! Check it out!
I got these frogs (above) in a bag of stuff for .99 cents. I tried to get .99 out of it but someone did the BIN for $4.50. Someone is getting a good deal. This can be up to $17 if he would have waited for v-day!

Here  (below) is one of my free shipping. I probably will raise the price as I get more confident with things!

I was pretty excited that these Limited pants sold so quickly and for $10 plus shipping!
image
I did not think Liz Claiborne would go this fast! But someone got a great deal for these like new pants!
image

It wasn’t until after I posted this that I found out what they were! They are zimmbos and sell for about $18 for a whole set on Amazon. I was pretty happy with my sell price even without the right tag on them. ‘Specially since they are not a complete set!image
My Friend at Mom's Paycheck sold some Trivial cards and that inspired me to post these rather than toss them. I got them and a bunch of other items for .99 cents, and sold these for almost $10. Shipping cost me around $4 so it was a nice profit for something I would have thrown away.

Rabbit’s fur! yes, this soft sweater has Rabbit’s fur in it! Sold for $10 with a last second bid!
image

These pants had 2 bids, from the same bidder, that always makes me wonder how high they were willing to go!

Round up

Well, after all my whining eBay seems to have picked up this week. Christmas rush maybe. I sold an odd assortment of things, but by far not the oddest.

My mom found this Bat mobile new in a rental they have:

this one

Batmobile: sold for $6.55 with $8 shipping.

It was crazy. They buyer selected free pickup, which I didn’t know I had on there, and couldn’t change the payment so it took sending another invoice and clearing up the whole mess to get my $8 in shipping. So glad I did though! Shipping cost me $7.98!

I was thrilled to find a chico travelers at my thrift store. Heard these sell really well. But I did some research and found this one hasn’t sold well in the past. So I was happy to hand it off for what profit I made. I mean come on! Who wants to snap all those buttons!?

Chico's Travelers shirt black

Chico's size 1 (med) travelers shirt with button front and mock turtleneck black: $5.58

My hubby ran in the Warrior dash and got this free hat. I was shocked that someone would pay $7 for it! I didn’t make that much on it after fees and shipping but someone still got a deal seeing that you can get them on Warrior Dash website for $10 plus shipping. Figured October is a good time to sell these kind of things anyway!

Vikings hat: $4.12

I found this swim suit and almost kept it for summer but when eBay ran a special I stuck it in there. It sold for $12! Wonderful for heading into winter and an unknown brand!

retro swim suit

I.F. Vintage style swim suit: $12

Nor sure when mini corduroy skirts are in season but at least one person out there is wearing them now!

IMG_2466

American Eagle corduroy short skirt! Dark brown size 6: $4.34

Dress barn I’m still not sure about! They don’t sell great on eBay but they have some super cute stuff and sometimes I can’t pass them up. They seem to sell every time though at a profit. But when I look through listings it shows everything that sells, or doesn’t sell, listed at $.99. I’ve done WAY better than that!

Dress barn skirt size 12: Made $6.07

Oh! As you can see I figured out a way to post more than 1 picture for free. I know there is a way to use HTML and post it in the text for free as well. I just haven’t cared enough to figure that out yet! This seems to work well. I just use Picnik to make my collage! Works great!

Round up!

I know I talked about the grab bags I’ve been getting. Well, they are paying for themselves! Now, I haven’t discovered any $100 items but at least I can support my habit! LOL!

Bought in a grab bag for .45 cents with a whole but of other things

Sold for .99 plus shipping

Sold this rabbit for $1.75 after a bidding war of 3 bids. Shipping was $1. Not bad for getting it in a grab bag for .45 cents!

image

I also got this Yoshi  which I sold for .99 to someone in Sweden willing to pay $17 shipping! Maybe he is hard to find in Sweden?

IMG_2072

These curlers I got for 45 cents and they not only got the opening bid of $6.99 but sold for $8.01 with $7 shipping! They don’t have the metal pins that hold the hair on the curlers But they worked great and I made a tidy sum on these! Oh, by the way my son found these in the store. He is three. Yep, that makes up for more than the toys I’ve purchased for him on “special” day trips to the thrift store!

IMG_2442

My husband got this free vikings hat when he ran the warrior dash a few weeks ago. I realized most people pay $10 on the Warrior dash website for these silly things and with the most dressed up holiday around the corner I figured it wouldn’t hurt to sell this. And sell it did. Someone paid $7 for this thing. And now I don’t have it in my house. Win win!

IMG_2074

Someone paid $11 for these John Deere boots. I got them for free so it was a great deal on both sides!

Round up!

You’ve got to love eBay. Even in the last weeks of pregnancy, and right after I had my baby eBay kept plugging along. I didn’t buy anything new for the last month but it has been a great time to get rid of all the stuff that I needed to price down and sell. My sells weren’t huge but every dollar is nice and every item that leaves my storage space is wonderful!!! Yay!

These JCrew pants I decided to post and if they didn’t sell I would hold them for cooler weather. They are summer color but they are also pants. They sold for full price!

J Crewclassic twill chino size 2R Beach blue slacks

$7-- J Crew classic twill chino size 2R Beach blue slacks

Halter tops seem to do well, but I did have to price this down a bit before it sold:

Ann Taylor Size S pale blue halter top shirt cotton

$4--Ann Taylor Size S pale blue halter top shirt cotton

I got these slacks and used a free posting to stick them on before stashing them away for winter. They sold the first week! Yay for free postings!

Women's Gap long size 2 khaki slacks

$7--Women's Gap long size 2 khaki slacks

Target brand I don’t usually buy but when you can pair too together it was just to tempting. I posted them and a whole week went by before someone notified my that I didn’t have any pictures posted with it! Somehow the pictures didn’t download! Rats! So I posted them again for, I think $4 and they bid up to $10.25! Not bad for a $2 investment on something I wasn’t sure would sell. (Skorts? Really?)

Sonoma Life & Style skort set of 2 Plaid size 6

$10.25--Sonoma Life & Style skort set of 2 Plaid size 6

I didn’t do as well with these Target shorts, even with the $17 plus price tag stuck to it! But with shipping they still got them for half off so I’m happy for them!

NWT Mossimo Size six pinstrips shorts

$3--NWT Mossimo Size six pinstrips shorts

These were really cute shorts that I kept higher priced cuz I knew they would sell (yes, $6 is a higher price for me =)

Aeropostale shorts size 1/2 Khaki

$6--Aeropostale shorts size 1/2 Khaki

Skirts seem to always be in season. This got picked off the 2nd week. I posted them full price again just cuz I didn’t have time to change it! Lazy me paid off!

Women's apostrophe Stretch skirt size 8 Black knee-lgth

$7--Women's apostrophe Stretch skirt size 8 Black knee-lgth

Maternity seems to sell, maybe not for lots of money but it always sells at a profit. I like stuff that I know will sell. These long maternity pants didn’t get snatched up like I was sure they would, but they did get purchased. If I would have waited ‘til winter I might have gotten more out of them. But I’m ok with what I got.

TM Style maternity black pants slacks long.

$4--TM Style maternity black pants slacks long.

Maternity dresses have been a sure sell for me. Even if I think they are ugly! For example:

Tomorrow's Mother's Maternity Sun Dress Size Small

$6--Tomorrow's Mother's Maternity Sun Dress Size Small

A girl wanted this skirt shipped to her within 4 days so she could pack it for a trip she was taking. I shipped it off, notifying her when I did and telling her to be sure to let me know if it didn’t make it since it should ship in 2 days.  She left me great feedback saying she wore it to a party and loved it. Yay! Love happy endings!

Women's Gap printed skirt size 8 Cotton Orangish-pink

$10--Women's Gap printed skirt size 8 Cotton Orangish-pink

I’m still not sure how linen does. It seems like it is a good item…unless I’m selling it. Then it is just ok.

Old Navy linen shorts size 6 low rise Brown.

$5--Old Navy linen shorts size 6 low rise Brown.
